Are these companies licensed - legally allowed to provide a service?
You should work with an office cleaning staff that is licensed to do business in your country, state, city, and county. This is very important. If the company or individual is not licensed, they likely are not insured or bonded either! This may not seem like a really big deal...but it is! If you have someone on your property performing duties for you and they get hurt and do not have an insurance company, in most districts you will be considered liable. This is too big of a risk to take. The service you choose should be able to prove they are insured and bonded.
At K & B Solutions we are licensed, insured and bonded. If anyone gets hurt while we are working on your premises, this takes you completely out of the loop and you will not be liable for the medical expense.
Do they have experience?
The maintenance and janitorial service that you are considering should have enough experience to be efficient in their tasks and have worked together long enough for the work effort to flow smoothly. Experience is very important but it should not become the entire picture. Everyone gets more productive as they repeat tasks together for long periods of time.
K & B Solutions' owner, Breanne Edens, has worked a number of years in the maintenance and janitorial field prior to starting out on her own. The entire staff has sufficient experience together to perform their duties thorough and fast.
Will they listen and design a specific plan to fit your needs?
Communication is the key! Many companies come in with a list of thing they will do on each visit and mark it off like a check list, never deviating from the content. Are these companies willing to listen to your specific needs and create a plan that will work for you? Are they willing to add the specific items you want and go the extra mile if they see something needs attention that is NOT on their list? And, are they willing to do it without being told?

There are many maintenance and janitorial services in existence who just simply are NOT good at what they do. It is human nature to want to trust people and believe what they say. Follow-up and Walk-Through
Any service you hire should be more than willing to provide you with a walk-through session after the first visit (at the very least) or talk with you on the phone if that is not possible to make sure the job was completed to your satisfaction.
At K & B Solutions, the owner (Breanne Edens) will initiate a complete walk-through of the job site in order to give you an opportunity to voice any concerns you may have. If you are not available for that walk-through, Breanne will call you within a couple of days to make sure everything was completed to your satisfaction. We are not happy until you are and feel this is a very important step in our future relationship.
